Welcome to Week 3!

It’s time to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Oprah is known for asking all of the uncomfortable questions, even to herself. She shares, “Intention is the most powerful principle that rules my world. I do nothing without first thinking about why I’m doing it. What is the real motivation?

So what is your motivation in the gym? Just get it done, or really push your self to reach new heights? How can this be done? By ramping up the INTENSITY in your workouts

Progressing from one workout to the next is what we all strive for in the gym; however, some stick to what’s more comfortable – such as, always doing the same reps/sets or constantly using the same weight. This will actually stall your progress!

In order to make progress, your body and muscles need to be continually challenged with new training stimuli. So get comfortable with the uncomfortable—pushin’ more weight, completing more reps, doing an exercise faster, etc.! Once that becomes comfortable, get uncomfortable again! This is what training is all about—continuous progression and improvement!
