Tisha Velarde Coaching Style:

My coaching style is to focus on highlighting my clients’ achievements, no matter how small they may seem. Offer praise and encouragement for their efforts and progress to boost their confidence and self-belief. Recognize that every client is unique, with different challenges and struggles. Show empathy and understanding towards their circumstances and create a safe space for open communication.

I like to collaborate with my clients to set realistic and achievable goals tailored to their need and fitness levels. And regularly assess and track my clients’ progress providing them with tangible evidence of their improvements. Progress pictures, measurements, and fitness assessments are powerful tools.

I am a “mindset” kind of coach. I help clients develop a positive and resilient mindset. Teach them to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and a view setbacks as learning experiences rather than failures. I lead by example. I stay updated with the latest fitness/nutrition/wellness research and techniques so that my clients are confident they are in good hands. I encourage camaraderie among clients to create a sense of community and accountability. And celebrate my clients’ achievements, whether they reach a specific goal or make consistent progress.

An ideal client is enthusiastic about improving their health and wellness, and they are committed to putting in the effort required to achieve their goals. They stay consistent with their training sessions and show genuine interest in making progress. An ideal client is open-minded and receptive to learning about various aspects of health and wellness. They are willing to try new exercises, nutrition strategies, and lifestyle changes to enhance their well-being.  

The ideal client is accountable for their actions, adheres to their workout and nutrition plans, and keeps track of their progress.
