We have all heard the mantras a million times with their cheerful message of success, “Believe and Achieve” or “Believe in Yourself and Anything is Possible”. However, more often than not, we don’t take these statements to heart. We let them slip by without registering the meaning, or perhaps giving them a flippant “yeah right!” Before you brush off these simple but powerful statements, STOP and take note! A huge factor in success is amazingly simple yet often times difficult, belief in yourself! Often women start on a journey toward a weight loss or fitness goal over and over again, only to end up quitting simply because they don’t believe that they can do it or have what it takes. The road to fitness success seems too long or the results don’t come fast enough and they lose faith. In order to change your life, you have to BELIEVE that you have the power within yourself to make a change and finally find success! Read more!

When new Bombshell Fitness clients come on board, they are beyond excited and motivated to start their fitness journey and change their life by losing weight, learning how to eat clean, getting into the best shape of their lives and transforming their whole outlook on life. I LOVE to see the excitement in their eyes, and their anticipation of amazing things to come never ceases to further motivate myself and my staff. However, in some cases, too MUCH unrealistic, unbridled enthusiasm is a warning sign that their new venture may be short lived. Making an abrupt, complete life change in one swoop with no wiggle room, can more often than not be recipe for failure. We’ve heard so many new Bombshells espouse statements such as; “Looks like, I won’t be going out to dinner ever again” or “I better eat everything I want now before my new plan starts”. We know these are HUGE warning flags of a new program destined to fail. Living a health and fitness lifestyle is just that, a lifestyle! This means that in order to succeed, you must integrate this lifestyle into your LIFE! Yes, many aspects of your life will change. However, telling yourself that you will never enjoy an indulgent meal again, or that all of your favorite foods are forever off limits, is a surefire way down a road of frustration and unrealized dreams. What is the formula? In order to succeed long term, you must change your lifestyle and still LIVE your life! Here are a few Bombshell Fitness tips to avoid the “all or nothing” fitness yo-yo and stay on track…for life!

Do you love your scale? It would be safe to assume that you answered this question with a booming “NO!” For a majority of women, the scale sits in a corner seeming to mocking us, doing it’s evil best to draw us in so that we find ourselves unwillingly stepping on it’s platform of doom and subsequently suffering an aftermath of self-loathing and depression concerning the number that flashes on it’s wicked dial. Like an old flame that we know is bad for us, we either try our best to avoid it’s temptation by shoving it in the back of the closet or even throwing it in the garbage. Or, we simply cannot stay away and keep going back repeatedly, over and over, as a means of self-torture, even though we know it may bring us pain. It is very possible that our relationship with the scale is a one that can linger throughout our lives, year after year only to bring us misery. At Bombshell Fitness we’ve trained thousands of women over the years and a large majority of clients come to us viewing the scale as a reminder they are “fat failures”!
