We have all been there. You miss the gym, then those Holiday parties start to fill your schedule. Things get busier and crazier and next thing you know, you haven’t been to the gym in over a week! Additionally, there are all the added treats, not to mention the holiday travel.

Let me start by saying, missing a few days from the gym won’t cause our bodies to fall apart, especially since we train so hard all year round. The key is to do all of the other important pieces such as drinking your water, managing your stress, and following the 80/20 rule! This will keep your metabolism running strong.
If you’re not working out, you saved an hour, plus your commute time! Use some of that extra time for stress relief. It is a perfect time to prep some extra meals (freezer meals are a lifeline!), do some yoga, read, journal, or catch up with some of your Bombshell Sisters!
And you can always make the outdoors your gym! – Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather while it lasts.
Break a sweat wherever, whenever, with this 20-minute Bombshell workout!
This workout challenges your entire body without using a single weight. It includes dynamic stretching to get your blood flowing and a cool-down to help you slow back down and wrap it all up.
If you want to make the workout more challenging, maybe you’ve done it a handful of times and are ready to turn things up a notch, add weights to the lunge and Bombshell Booty Bands (get your bands here) to the squat movements.
The key to making this workout effective is to be explosive and keep your rest times to a minimum.
Let’s get started!
Warm-up
Do each move for 20 seconds. Do this warm-up twice.
Circuit
Do each move for 45 seconds. Rest for 15 seconds in between each move. Do the entire circuit 2-3 times.
Cool-down
Do each move for 10 to 30 seconds…or longer if it feels good and you have time.
- Child’s pose
- Downward facing dog
- Forward fold
- Standing quad stretch
